War Risk Index privacy

War Risk Index is a public information site. It does not collect payments, account passwords, sensitive personal profiles, or private intelligence requirements.

Monitoring events

The site records basic monitoring events such as page views, selected regions, custom query submissions, route path, referrer host, coarse country from Cloudflare, visitor/session identifiers, and browser user agent. These events help verify that the public pages and data endpoints are working.

Custom queries

Custom query text may be sent to the same-origin API and to GDELT as part of the public source request. Do not enter private, classified, confidential, or personally sensitive text.

Storage

Analytics events and derived risk snapshots may be stored in Cloudflare D1. Raw GDELT source articles are not republished in full by this site.
